How systems enhance strategic management

This document might otherwise be described as ‘the impact of systems thinking and ICT on strategy management’ and proposes two new elements of a strategic knowledge management system:

• An intelligence system to generate, access, manage and communicate actionable information for senior managers.
• A trialling system to involve senior management directly in new initiatives and obtain their input and direction.
